Bryn C. Donovan

Harm Reduction Advocate and Legal Student

Who is Bryn?

Bryn Donovan is a first-year legal student at the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law in Concord, New Hampshire. Prior to law school, Bryn worked at a nonprofit in St. Lawrence County, New York, addressing healthcare workforce shortages and working to reduce the impact of the opioid epidemic in rural communities. In 2023, they graduated summa cum laude from Ithaca College, majoring in Culture and Communication with a minor in Deaf Studies.

Bryn is a harm reduction advocate and certified naloxone trainer. During her two years working in St. Lawrence County, she trained over 400 community members and students in a harm reduction approach to substance use treatment and naloxone administration. They also coordinated the placement of 18 overdose emergency boxes throughout the region, placing Narcan and drug test strips in high-traffic areas for easy access.
